Pragmatic Utopianism

Bjarke Ingels is head of the architectural practice BIG. He is hugely renowned for his work across the globe and his extensive play with aesthetics is his trademark.
What made me awaken to his design approach was the play with imagination vs. green architecture and the fact that they don't have to be two separate entities.
"The term I use is hedonistic sustainability,: he says. "Instead of sacrificing something, the special demands for the building might actually lead you to build the place to be more enjoyable."

Enjoy.
